AH-64 Apache Keyboard Unit Controller
This is the AH-64 Apache Keyboard Unit Controller. Perfect for somebody building an AH-64 Cockpit Flight Simulator for DCS
For the display to function DCSBIOS is required (HUB is not supported, only DCSFLIGHTS which I do not currently support getting setup, there is a discord you can ask for help)
$210.00 AUD – $290.00 AUD
This is the AH-64 Apache Keyboard Unit Controller.
If you choose the NO Display version the Display Hole will have Matte black acrylic in its place.
Some intentional design decisions were made, note the buttons for the numeric portion are square not round, the display is a bit larger so the shape at the top protrudes out 10mm, and the knob is a Rotary Encoder, not a Potentiometer.
The buttons are an acrylic which gives a nice solid feel and audible feedback when pressed, the edges are unpainted.
Video of an actual unit in action
The unit has a Matte black finish with the dimensions of 155 x 134 x 20mm deep. The rear unit has Vesa 75 keyholes for mounting. or the unit can be mounted with the 4 holes with m4 bolt into a pit
The units keyboard functions as a HID mode Joystick and register each press as a Joystick button, and the Knob is a rotary encoder, register a button press for both directions with each detent. For the display to function DCSBIOS is required (HUB is not supported, only DCSFLIGHTS which I do not currently support getting setup, there is a discord you can ask for help)
This AH-64 Keyboard Unit Controller would be a great addition to a Apache Sim cockpit you are building, and perfect for any Flight sim Enthusiast / DCS gamer.
