This is for the unit has that the smaller Arduino and sold pre Nov 2022 and has a V1.X number on the back of the main PCB
By default the unit comes as a HID Joystick
Please note, this may not appear in Game Controllers, but this will work perfectly fine for any game and will require mapping to be done in most games.
If you wish to switch to DCSBIOS Mode this can be achieved by pushing the MODE Switch to AUTO (TOP Position), Holding the Bleed Air knob down and flicking Mode all the way to the Bottom OFF/RAM in one Push. The unit will flash if successful. If you are not familiar with DCSBIOS please check out the following link

If you wish to have this unit back as a HID device, this can be achieved by pushing the MODE Switch to OFF/RAM (Bottom Position), Holding the Bleed Air knob down and flicking Mode all the way to the top MODE AUTO in one Push.
The unit will flash and then function as a USB HID Joystick Controller.
Please note in both modes the Bleed Air Encoder doesn’t know “where it is” on startup, so you need to ensure it is in the correct position before loading into the cockpit.
The Backlit Brightness is controlled by the Consoles Rotary.
